A friend gave me this super-cute pumpkin in appreciation of staying in my retro caravan, Billie Blue. It was precious because her Mum had grown it in her garden, and I've never seen a pumpkin quite like it. It was far too sculptural to eat, so I put it on my studio shelf to look at.
But not for long. Within a couple of days I started painting the pumpkin and it got itself onto the canvas over several sessions.
The painted pumpkin is about four times bigger than the actual pumpkin and very sure of itself as it beams out its pumpkin power.
The canvas is 455mm x 605mm x 35mm deep. It's painted on the edges, has a matt protective coating for UV protection and easy cleaning, and is ready to hang.
