Paua Potential

Paua are often collected from the rocks here on the coast so their iridescent shells wash up on the beach.

They are exquisite in their emptiness - reminding us to leave an open space sometimes into which fresh life can flow.

This painting is mostly in rich transparent acrylic inks supported by some acrylic paint. 

 

The canvas is 708 mm wide by 555 mm high by 35 mm deep and painted on the edges so is ready to hang.
