Calendulas in Exotic Frame

Calendulas

I haven’t painted for a while so I wanted to ease myself back into it gently by painting something to suit this super-cute frame. The frame is small, ornate and of another era, so I felt it needed to house a timeless treasure.

I chose calendula. 

The painting is on canvas board and is sealed to enable easy cleaning and protect it from UV. 

The frame dimensions are 340mm long x  295mm wide by 25mm deep. The painted canvas is 245mm x 197mm x 5mm
