Reframe

Reframe is a painting I did just before covid entered and changed our world.  
It was interesting timing given that we're now in the process of reframing and resetting our perspectives on life. 

The leaves are generic but they are very like those of our native and ancient kauri trees, some of which still stand tall here in the north.

The oldest living kauri, Tane Mahuta, is estimated to be between 1250 and 2500 years old so provides a lens on life's ever-changing perspective and adaptability. 

This acrylic painting includes some dynamic acrylic-ink, is 400mm x 500mm x 35mm and sealed with UV matte varnish so is ready to hang.
