Palm Pathways

Palms start as small seeds and unfurl towards the sky as they mature into robust sculptural forms.

This painting echoes that process and reminds us of our own personal versions of that expansive journey.

I'm usually paint solely with brushes, but in this painting I loosen up and use tiny blocks of wood and other found stuff to stamp occasional repeat shapes.

 

The painting is acrylic on canvas and painted on the edges so is ready to hang.

It is 305 mm wide by 405 mm high by 35 mm deep.
