Dance of the Goose-neck painting by Wendy Laurenson

A full sized coconut washed up on our beach a few years ago.

It was covered in goose-neck barnacles indicating a long-time voyage in the ocean.

It was the first time I had seen goose-neck barnacles up-close and personal, and I was intrigued by their physicality and their flexibility.

Their voyage on that coconut inspired this painting.

This is an oil painting 610 mm x 305 mm.

It is painted on the edges and varnished, so is ready to hang.
